Before I come to the issue of jealousy I wish to admonish our decent brothers and sisters to be circumspect in our responses even under extreame provocation during interractions. Not that the miscreants do not deserve rebuke in their faces but because passersby may misunderstand the issues. There is an anecdote that fits the case I’m making:

“ A nobleman went bathing - in a backyard bathroom as in some compound houses, we still have those...you know?- Then a well-dressed lunatic came to whisk away his towel and dress. The naked nobleman, in a haste to demonstrate his speed and alertness, dashed after the lunatic to collect his belongings.” Who will the on-lookers take for lunatic? Your guess is as good as mine!

Anyway jealous because the ladies have responded to Imhotep’s 8 de Marzo greetings and he’s ‘cashing in’ all the romantic points. You see… I was the first to wish the ladies Felix 8 de Marzo. Remember It was 8 de Marzo in Ghana before America. But, due to a technological disadvantage beyond me, Imhotep gets to post his greetings first and gets the response from no mean a person than…. you know who I mean. I went round to congratulate tens of ladies in my vicinity and most of them were asking what I meant by International Women’s Day. In the circumstance I also demand some recognition so I wish all the ladies Felix 8 de Marzo 2011 in advance
